Navy: Realistic Combat Training

Testing the Escort Task Force's Joint Combat Capability

Battle alarm!

Upon receiving the "enemy" situation report, the task force quickly entered combat status. The Tangshan and Taihu ships adjusted their course to occupy advantageous attack positions.

Target acquired, permission to fire. Fire!

Tangshan Ship Yang Tianke: The main gun is the primary firepower for maritime strikes and a key means of anti-piracy; it must achieve precise hits and rapid damage.

Subsequently, the task force received a special report of "floating mines" detected ahead. The gunner on the Taihu ship rotated the turret and locked onto the target, accurately implementing fire strikes.

As night fell, the training transitioned to higher-risk and more challenging night landing exercises for carrier-based aircraft. Pilots piloted helicopters, continuously adjusting altitude, speed, and course according to the instructions of the ship's surface guide, landing steadily amidst wind and waves.

During this training, the escort task force completed exercises including day-and-night flights of carrier-based helicopters, artillery firing, and special operations forces anti-piracy drills. The officers and soldiers deeply integrated escort missions with realistic combat training, continuously enhancing the task force's capability to perform diverse missions.

Army: Day-and-Night Exercises

Refining the Comprehensive Abilities of Scouts

A certain brigade of the 77th Group Army organized a reconnaissance team, which recently conducted day-and-night exercises to refine the comprehensive abilities of the scouts.

During the exercises, to achieve a surprise attack effect, the reconnaissance team adjusted their movement routes multiple times based on real-time enemy situation reports. The officers and soldiers utilized dense forests to adopt alternating cover and dispersed advancement methods, maximizing the avoidance of enemy reconnaissance and vigilance.

On the way, the officers and soldiers not only had to climb steep slopes of nearly 70 degrees but also cross a turbulent river about ten meters wide. Faced with natural barriers, the scouts quickly set up ropes to cross the water, shortening the marching distance while minimizing exposure risks.

Brigade Zhang Pengyuan of the 77th Group Army: When the reconnaissance team independently executes combat missions, they usually avoid conventional routes for rapid advancement and concealment, which places high demands on the scouts' comprehensive qualities. Only by honing reconnaissance skills in complex environments can they adapt to the needs of future independent missions.

As night fell, the officers and soldiers utilized night vision equipment to conduct training on nighttime infiltration, concealed camping, and emergency response. In the face of sudden enemy harassment, the officers and soldiers coordinated their actions, successfully resolving unexpected dangers and completing key objectives such as intelligence reconnaissance under extreme conditions, testing the comprehensive combat capabilities of the reconnaissance team.
