Navy 83 Fleet Arrives in Indonesia for Friendly Visit
Today (August 2), the Navy's 83rd Fleet, which is on a comprehensive training and visiting mission, arrived at Tanjung Perak Port in Surabaya, Indonesia, to begin a four-day friendly visit.
At around 10 a.m. local time, the Navy's 83rd Fleet slowly docked at Tanjung Perak Port in Surabaya, Indonesia. Staff from the Chinese Consulate General in Surabaya, representatives from the Indonesian Navy, representatives from the Chinese community, representatives from Chinese-funded institutions, and representatives of international students were present at the dock to welcome them. During the visit, naval personnel from both countries will engage in ship visits, cultural and sports friendly matches, and other activities. The fleet will host a deck reception and open the ship for visits by the Indonesian military, local citizens, and the Chinese community.
