the Eastern Theater Navy

the Anhui and Yimengshan ships from a landing ship detachment

formed a naval formation

and sailed into the designated sea area

A multi-subject coordinated training

was instantly launched

"Carrier-based aircraft takeoff and deployment!"

As soon as the order was given

the flight deck of the Anhui ship

immediately entered combat readiness

personnel at the mooring, guidance, and fuel positions responded to the command

and several carrier-based aircraft took off in succession

penetrating low to the target beach

to implement vertical delivery

Almost simultaneously

the Yimengshan ship completed flooding its dock chamber

and the stern gate slowly opened

the hovercraft surged out

with water mist splashing

the hovercraft formation rapidly maneuvered towards the landing point

In that split second

the main gun position of the Anhui ship received the command:

"Beach firepower point, suppressive fire!"

Deputy gunner Chen Zhongxiang adjusted the parameters

the gun barrel turned

with several muffled sounds

shells whistled out of the barrel

and clouds of smoke rose from the distant beach

Firepower suppression, vertical delivery, and surface assault

three forces squeezed into the same window

Flight deck guidance team leader Li Xingyao said:

"As soon as the firepower is finished, we must immediately shift

the helicopters are still landing on the deck

while the hovercraft in the dock are already rushing out

there's just the time between commands."

The sea suddenly changed

the waves surged higher and higher

the ship's body rolled more violently

inside the Yimengshan ship's dock

the seawater surged in

the hovercraft bobbed up and down in the waves

the bow of the craft came close to the stern gate several times

but was pushed away by the waves

Dock operation team leader Shi Haozhen

kept a close eye on the rhythm of the craft's stern swing

seizing the gap between the waves, decisively ordered:

"Slightly to the left—reel it in!"

The hovercraft steadily slipped into the dock

The waves posed a severe test for the flight deck as well

as a returning carrier-based aircraft entered the landing approach

the landing guide waved a fluorescent baton, drawing an arc

precisely issuing commands during the deck's undulations

The aircraft landed

the mooring personnel rushed up

mooring and securing, all in one go

Li Xingyao said:

"When the waves are high

the landing time for each aircraft is extended

the daytime batches slow down

and the nighttime takeoff and landing windows are compressed even tighter

what we practice is to keep every step within the shortest time."

The leadership of the detachment said:

"Next, we will focus on complex sea conditions

multi-ship coordination, nighttime three-dimensional delivery, and other subjects

to deepen training

and solidly improve the coordination efficiency

between various positions."

On the crest of the waves, every second counts

Thumbs up, Chinese Navy!
