Realistic Training of Landing Ship Formation in a Certain Sea Area of the South China Sea

Recently, a certain unit of the Southern Theater Command Navy

composed of the Wuzhishan, Changbaishan, and Kunlunshan ships

formed a naval task force

and headed to a certain area in the South China Sea

to conduct multi-subject, high-intensity

realistic combat training

The combat alert was sounded

The task force urgently departed from the dock

and rapidly maneuvered towards the designated sea area

Upon arriving at the specified sea area

each ship quickly engaged in training

Main guns fired at shore targets

accurately covering beach targets

Secondary guns engaged in air defense

successfully intercepting incoming aerial threats

and completing fire suppression

The task force then deployed smoke screens

and the ships executed tactical evasion

successfully shaking off "enemy" reconnaissance locks

As night fell

the sea and air were pitch black, and the wind and waves increased

shipborne helicopters organized night takeoffs and landings

conducting multiple flights in succession

effectively enhancing the coordination capability of the shipborne helicopters

with the mother ship

This training involved multiple subjects interspersed

successfully completing hovercraft docking and undocking

shipborne helicopter day-and-night takeoffs and landings

and smoke screen deployment training

comprehensively testing and enhancing the task force's

capability to carry out mission tasks
