Xinhua News Agency Moscow/Kiev, June 5 (Reporter Geng Huifang, Li Dongxu) - Russia and Ukraine exchanged 370 captured soldiers on the 5th, with each side handing over 185 soldiers.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated on social media on the 5th that 185 captured Russian soldiers returned from the Ukrainian-controlled area that day. In exchange, the Russian side also handed over 185 captured personnel to the Ukrainian side. The United Arab Emirates participated in mediating this operation. The Russian personnel are currently receiving medical treatment and psychological counseling in Belarus, after which they will return to Russia.

Ukrainian President Zelensky stated on social media on the 5th that 185 Ukrainian soldiers and 1 Ukrainian civilian returned to Ukraine that day. These soldiers are from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the National Guard, and the State Border Guard Service.
