The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the 23rd that the Russian army has taken control of the Belitskoye settlement in the Donetsk region. Over the past day, the Russian military has utilized aviation, drones, and missile artillery units to strike targets such as Ukrainian drone production and storage facilities, fuel and energy infrastructure, and personnel deployment points, while continuing to attack Ukrainian military ports, including Odessa. On the same day, the Russian air defense system shot down multiple guided bombs, U.S.-made rockets, and 480 drones.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released a report on the same day, stating that there were 261 combat incidents on the front lines in the past 24 hours, with Ukrainian forces repelling Russian attacks in multiple directions while also striking several Russian personnel gathering areas and key military targets. The Ukrainian Air Force stated that the Russian military launched missile and drone attacks on that day, with the Ukrainian air defense system intercepting most of the incoming targets.
