Russia says the deployment of troops by "Volunteer Alliance" countries in Ukraine is unacceptable.
On July 15, Xinhua News Agency reported from Moscow (Reporter Huang He) that Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zakharova stated at a press conference in Moscow that the deployment of military forces by any "volunteer alliance" country in Ukraine is unacceptable for Russia.
Zakharova indicated that once these military forces are deployed, it will exacerbate the security threats faced by Russia, and the Russian side will consider these military forces as legitimate targets for strikes.
Zakharova also stated that the continuous supply of weapons to Ukraine by Western countries is one of the obstacles to resolving the Ukraine issue. To end the conflict, the West must stop supplying weapons to Ukraine.
According to a report by TASS on the 15th, French President Macron previously stated at the "volunteer alliance" summit that the deployment plan for the "volunteer alliance" forces is ready. In the coming months, these forces will conduct exercises in European countries bordering Ukraine.
The "volunteer alliance," led by France and the UK, aims to provide security guarantees for Ukraine and attempts to promote a resolution to the Ukraine crisis. The alliance held a summit in Paris on the 13th.
