In recent days, Russia has launched missile and drone attacks on multiple locations in Ukraine, while the Ukrainian side has conducted long-range strikes on large oil refineries and other infrastructure in Russia. The data center of Russia's largest search engine service provider was also hit by a drone attack.

On the 9th, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that between the 3rd and the 9th, the Russian armed forces carried out one large-scale strike and seven cluster strikes against Ukraine, targeting Ukrainian defense industrial enterprises, logistics and communication centers, military airfields, drone production and storage sites, fuel and equipment warehouses, and temporary deployment points of the Ukrainian military. The strikes resulted in damage to several port facilities in Ukraine, causing them to cease operations.

The report also stated that in the past week, Russian forces targeted 14 cargo ships and one tanker used for transporting weapons, equipment, fuel, and supplies to the Ukrainian military.

On the 9th, Russia's largest search engine service provider, Yandex, announced that part of its data center in Kaluga Oblast was hit by a drone attack, causing several modules to be completely incapacitated. Emergency rescue personnel and experts are working on-site, and there are currently no casualties reported. Some of the company's services may experience intermittent disruptions, and an assessment of the damages is underway.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on the 9th that in the past day, 211 battles occurred in the frontline areas. The Ukrainian military repelled Russian attacks in multiple directions. The Ukrainian Air Force, missile troops, and artillery struck four personnel assembly areas, one equipment assembly area, two drone command posts, two artillery systems, and one critical facility of the Russian side.

Ukrainian President Zelensky confirmed on the 9th that Ukraine deployed long-range drones to launch a new round of strikes on facilities within Russia, targeting the Omsk Oil Refinery, the Uhta Oil Refinery, and a data center. This operation is a reciprocal response to Russia's attacks on Ukraine.
