Russian Army Destroys Ukrainian Oil Tanker, Storage Tanks, and Military Warehouses
On August 27, Xinhua News Agency reported from Moscow that the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that on the same day, the Russian armed forces continued to attack Ukrainian military industrial enterprises, logistics sites, and ports and vessels serving the Ukrainian military, destroying one oil tanker, two oil storage tanks, and seven military warehouses belonging to Ukraine.
On the same day, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported via social media that the Russian military used various weapons to strike the aforementioned targets, destroying an oil tanker docked at the Izmail port in southern Ukraine that was transporting fuel for the Ukrainian military, as well as two oil storage tanks within the port; and destroying seven military equipment warehouses in the Odessa port that were supporting the Ukrainian military. Additionally, the Russian military also attacked a company in Kyiv Oblast that produces "ground-based integrated reconnaissance and strike unmanned equipment" and a local logistics site that transports and stores various drones.
The battle report released by the Russian Ministry of Defense on the same day also indicated that the Russian military is launching attacks in all directions at "an unchanged pace," with some assault units approaching key towns in the Donbas region such as Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, and Druzhkivka. In terms of air defense, on the 27th, the Russian military shot down a total of 591 fixed-wing drones, 19 guided aerial bombs, and 2 rockets belonging to Ukraine.
