Russian Defense Ministry Claims Strike on Ukrainian Naval Base
On September 27, Xinhua News Agency reported from Moscow (Reporter Liu Kai) that the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on the 27th that from late night on the 26th to early morning on the 27th, the Russian military struck the Ukrainian "Eastern" naval base command located in the port of Kiliya, the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service base, four warehouses storing Ukrainian military equipment, and docking facilities.
The announcement stated that the Russian military continued to use drones to strike Ukrainian logistics centers, ports, and transportation infrastructure, as well as communication centers and vessels serving the Ukrainian military.
The notice mentioned that the Vodafone data processing center located in Kyiv was targeted; this center is one of the main service providers for mobile communication, high-speed internet, and intelligence data transmission for the Ukrainian military. The Russian military also struck a logistics center in Kyiv Oblast that stores and distributes Western military supplies to Ukraine, as well as a military supply transport ship heading to the port of Odesa.
