Russian media: Russia has the capacity to produce 15,000 FPV drones per day

The special military operation has firmly established drones as one of the key means of modern combat operations.

Manturov said, "Currently, domestic enterprises have already surpassed a daily production of 15,000 FPV drones, whereas in 2023, such production would take a month to complete." He pointed out that over the past few years, Russia has developed an independent research and production system for suicide drones and loitering munitions, and the output of reconnaissance and strike unmanned systems has also significantly increased.

Manturov told "Kommersant" that ground and maritime unmanned systems have become "an indispensable part of completing combat missions" during the special military operation, and Russian enterprises are producing an increasing number of robotic platforms and unmanned systems.

Manturov said, "When it comes to unmanned systems, we cannot overlook the achievements Russia has made in the field of ground and maritime unmanned systems. There are now over a hundred improved models of this product series. Unmanned boats and ground combat robots have become an essential part of executing combat missions."

He also revealed that Russian researchers are applying artificial intelligence and anti-jamming communication technology to unmanned systems, and relevant enterprises are committed to improving the quality of unmanned systems while reducing their costs.
