Satellite images show a large number of U.S. military aircraft at a Jordanian air force base.

According to news from the United States on the 20th, the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan may become a key hub for potential U.S. military operations against Iran.

Satellite images from the 20th show that the U.S. has deployed over 60 military aircraft at the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, which is approximately three times the usual number of military aircraft stationed there. The satellite images also reveal the presence of U.S. F-35 stealth fighters, as well as several drones and helicopters. It is reported that a new air defense system has been deployed at the base.

Additionally, a senior advisor to the U.S. president stated on the 20th that President Trump has not yet decided whether to initiate military action against Iran; Trump may never order military action, or he could wake up one day and decide to do so. The senior advisor also mentioned that the U.S. Department of Defense has provided Trump with various options for striking Iran, including targeting Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei and his son Mojtaba.

The U.S. has recently continued to pressure Iran, threatening military intervention. On the 20th, the U.S. Navy's largest aircraft carrier, the USS Ford, and a guided-missile destroyer appeared near the Strait of Gibraltar. Reports indicate that the USS Ford has passed through the Strait of Gibraltar into the Mediterranean Sea and will join the USS Lincoln carrier strike group located in the Persian Gulf.
