Saudi-led coalition claims to have intercepted a missile from Yemen's Houthi forces.
Xinhua News Agency, Riyadh, October 7 (Reporter Luo Chen, Wang Haizhou) According to a report from the Saudi Arabian News Agency early on the 7th, Turki Al-Maliki, spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition, stated that the coalition intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the Houthi armed group from Yemen towards the southwestern Saudi city of Khamis Mushait.
Al-Maliki said that the capital of Yemen, Sana'a, as well as Saada Province and Amran Province, controlled by the Houthi armed group, are the sources of the missile threat. The coalition is continuing to take action to eliminate the missile threat and destroy its origins.
