Xinhua News Agency, Seoul, May 4 (Reporter Huang Xinxin) - The South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed to Xinhua reporters on the evening of the 4th that at approximately 20:40 local time on the 4th, an explosion occurred on a vessel operated by a South Korean company (Panama-flagged) moored in the waters near the United Arab Emirates inside the Strait of Hormuz, resulting in a fire. There are currently no reported casualties.
