the disaster situation in many areas of Guangxi is still ongoing

Thousands of officers and soldiers from the Southern Theater Command

are continuously fighting in various disaster areas

to help the public restore production and living order

Southern Theater Army

At 22:00 on July 9

200 party members and soldiers from a certain brigade of the theater army

went to Sanli Street in Qintang District, Guigang City

to clear 4.5 kilometers of road

and approximately 50,000 square meters of silt

At around 9:00 on the morning of the 10th

the brigade's medical rescue team

provided medical consultations and treatment for injured locals

On the morning of July 10

nearly 100 soldiers from a certain brigade of the 75th Group Army

were deployed in the Gangbei District of Guigang City

to carry out silt removal and road clearance work

Southern Theater Air Force

On the evening of July 9

over 400 officers and soldiers from a certain unit of the Southern Theater Air Force

mobilized more than 40 vehicles

to move to disaster-affected areas such as Xiaoyi Town in Hengzhou City

At around midnight on the 10th

after arriving at various task points

based on the distribution of disaster areas and rescue needs

multiple operational zones were designated

and several rescue teams were formed

to simultaneously carry out dredging operations in ditches and roads

clearing roads between residential houses

to eliminate the risk of waterlogging

and strive to restore

normal production and living order in the disaster areas as soon as possible

Guangxi Military District

On July 9

the Guangxi Military District organized over 5,600 militia

to support flood control and post-disaster reconstruction work in Guigang, Nanning, Wuzhou, Qinzhou, and other directions

The militia built flood control dikes

relocated trapped residents, and transported disaster relief supplies

conducted dredging operations

fighting continuously and holding the front line

to fully protect the safety of the public's lives and property

Armed Police Guangxi Corps

On the afternoon of the 9th

the mobile detachment of the Armed Police Guangxi Corps

with over 400 officers and soldiers

conducted 17 hours of dredging operations

in Gantang Town, Binyang County, Nanning City

Currently, the main roads have been fully opened

On the morning of the 10th

the Armed Police Guangxi Corps

sent an additional 660 officers and soldiers

to carry out silt removal and obstacle clearance tasks

on both sides of the streets along National Highway 209 in Yunbiao Town, Hengzhou City
