Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, March 30 - According to Iranian media reports on the 30th, Iran's Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei and Iranian President Pezeshkian sent condolences regarding the assassination of the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, Tangsiri, to his family.

According to the Islamic Republic News Agency, Mujtaba stated in his condolence message that Tangsiri's assassination will inspire Iran's naval forces and resistance capabilities to become stronger and more resilient than ever.

Additionally, according to the Iranian Fars News Agency, Pezeshkian stated in his condolence message that Tangsiri fully enhanced the strength of the Revolutionary Guard Navy in the Persian Gulf, and Tangsiri's assassination will further elevate the banner of honor, resistance, and independence.

The Israel Defense Forces issued a statement on the 26th, saying that the Israeli military conducted airstrikes on the southern Iranian port of Abbas, resulting in the deaths of several senior members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, including Tangsiri. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated on the 30th that Tangsiri died from his injuries, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps will "never cease fighting until the enemy is completely eliminated."
