► Terma and Cornes Technologies join forces to strengthen naval self-protection in Asia Pacific

Through the collaboration, Terma and Cornes Technologies will promote and supply Terma’s C-Guard MK II Decoy Launching System and related equipment for new naval vessels in Asia Pacific.

Terma has signed a contract with Cornes Technologies in Japan to promote and supply C-Guard MK II Decoy Launching System and related equipment for new naval vessels.

As naval threats become more complex, vessels require self-protection systems that can adapt to different platforms, missions, and operational environments. C-Guard MK II provides a flexible soft-kill capability,

continuously evolving from AI-developed algorithms, against missile and torpedo threats and can operate independently or as part of a vessel’s combat management system.

C-Guard MK II uses NATO-standard 130 mm decoys and supports countermeasures from different suppliers. Its scalable configurations,

using fixed launchers to the trainable Ancilia launchers, allows the system to be adapted to a variety of vessel classes while giving operators the flexibility to respond to changing threats and future countermeasure requirements.

The agreement expands Terma’s cooperation with Japanese industry and strengthens its ability to serve naval customers in Japan through a dedicated local partner.
