The 24th Batch of Peacekeeping Forces to Lebanon Holds New Year Flag-Raising Ceremony

On February 17, local time, the first day of the Lunar New Year, the 24th batch of Chinese peacekeeping forces stationed in Lebanon held a grand flag-raising ceremony in the camp.

The peacekeeping camp was filled with the festive atmosphere of the New Year, adorned with red lanterns and couplets, where Chinese red and peacekeeping blue helmets complemented each other. Accompanied by the "United Nations Anthem," the Lebanese national anthem, and the "March of the Volunteers," the United Nations flag, the Lebanese national flag, and the Five-Star Red Flag were slowly raised and fluttered in the wind. All officers and soldiers saluted solemnly towards the flags.

The 24th batch of peacekeeping forces in Lebanon consists of multifunctional engineering teams, construction engineering teams, and medical teams. Since their deployment, they have consistently remained on the front lines of mine clearance, engineering construction, and medical assistance, safeguarding local peace and stability with professionalism and responsibility, earning high recognition from the United Nations and the Lebanese people.
