The 27th Rotation of the PLA Garrison in Macau Successfully Completed

Xinhua News Agency, Macau, August 27 (Li Dongdong, Qi Fei) According to the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Garrison of the Macao Special Administrative Region" and the orders of the Central Military Commission, the People's Liberation Army stationed in Macau organized the 27th rotation of its units on August 26, and the rotation was successfully completed on the same day.

On the morning of the 26th, the troops rotating into Macau gathered at the Zhuhai base to participate in a farewell ceremony. At the ceremony, the soldiers entering Macau were lined up neatly, full of morale, and vehicles were organized in formation, with the troops ready to depart. After the ceremony, the convoy entered Macau through the Hengqin Port, fully equipped. At the military camp in Taipa, the stationed troops organized a defense handover ceremony.

It was reported that the soldiers rotating out of Macau had successfully completed all tasks during their deployment, actively safeguarding the country's sovereignty, security, and development interests. The soldiers rotating into Macau underwent solid training and serious study before their arrival, fully mastering the basic situation of Macau and relevant legal knowledge, and possessing the capability to fulfill defense duties in Macau.

This rotation received strong support from the government of the Macao Special Administrative Region and all sectors of society, further deepening the bond with the people of Macau. Through this unit rotation, the stationed troops in Macau will continue to strengthen training and preparedness, faithfully fulfill their defense responsibilities, play a good stabilizing role, and make new and greater contributions to maintaining Macau's prosperity and stability.
