Xinhua News Agency, Tianjin, November 6 (Gao Yujiao, Xiao Hang) On the morning of November 6, six J-10 demonstration aircraft from the Air Force August 1st Aerobatic Team flew over the Huangyaguan Great Wall in Tianjin in a dense formation at low altitude, celebrating the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Air Force.

The Yanshan Mountains are lush, and the majestic pass stands tall. Above the Huangyaguan Great Wall in Tianjin, six J-10 demonstration aircraft from the Air Force August 1st Aerobatic Team emerged from the clouds. The six-aircraft formation maintained a tight formation with minimal spacing, performing low-altitude flybys. The red, yellow, and blue smoke trails from the demonstration aircraft rolled across the sky.

"Low-altitude flying involves significant airflow disturbances and limited visibility. The synchronized and compact formation of the six demonstration aircraft visually showcases the exceptional skills of the Air Force August 1st Aerobatic Team and reflects the continuously improving training standards of the People's Air Force," said military expert Zhang Xuefeng.

The Air Force August 1st Aerobatic Team has been fulfilling its mission of "national tribute, blue sky honor guard" for 64 years, consistently adhering to combat standards for all stunt maneuvers. They have successively equipped J-5, J-6, JL-5, J-7EB, J-7GB, J-10, and J-10C demonstration aircraft, performing over 800 flight demonstrations for more than 800 delegations from over 180 countries and regions.

It is understood that this is the Air Force August 1st Aerobatic Team's second flyover of a world landmark after flying over the Pyramids of Egypt in 2024.

"The pyramids are a testament to ancient human civilization, while the Great Wall is the spiritual totem of the Chinese nation. Flying over these world landmarks showcases the image of a strategic air force that is open and confident," said Li Bin, captain of the Air Force August 1st Aerobatic Team. "A first-class air force must have a first-class aerobatic team. As the modernization of the People's Air Force continues to advance, the flight paths of the aerobatic team will extend to even farther places."
