Trump wants Arab countries to foot the bill for U.S. strikes on Iran

White House Press Secretary Levitt said at a press conference on the 30th that President Trump intends to call on Arab countries to bear the costs of U.S. military actions against Iran, describing it as an idea of Trump's own.

When asked whether Arab countries would assist in paying for the war, Levitt stated that she believes Trump "would be very interested in calling on them to implement this," adding, "As far as I know, this is indeed an idea he has had. And I think you will hear him make more comments on this later."

Levitt stated that U.S. military actions against Iran are "proceeding as planned," and the U.S. maintains that military operations will continue for "4 to 6 weeks."

Levitt mentioned that Iran has agreed to allow 20 oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, stating, "We expect to announce an additional 20 oil tankers in the coming days," and noted, "This is the result of direct and indirect negotiations between the U.S. and Iran."

Iran: Launching the 87th wave of attacks targeting U.S. military command centers

The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced on the 30th that the IRGC Navy launched the 87th wave of the "Real Commitment-4" operation that day, carrying out four strikes against U.S. and Israeli targets.

The statement said that the IRGC used precision-guided missiles to strike a U.S. command and control center located in the UAE, which housed over 200 U.S. commanders and mid-level officers; and used drones to precisely strike the U.S. Navy's Fifth Fleet commander meeting at a secret accommodation location in Bahrain.

The statement also mentioned that an Israeli container ship flying a third country's flag and a U.S. deployed air defense early warning radar in Saudi Arabia were also targets of the strikes.

Iranian Parliament National Security Committee approves Hormuz Strait management plan

According to reports from Iranian media such as Tasnim News Agency on the 30th, the Iranian Islamic Parliament's National Security Committee approved a management plan for the Strait of Hormuz, establishing the role of the Iranian armed forces in controlling the strait, explicitly prohibiting vessels from the U.S., Israel, and countries imposing unilateral sanctions on Iran from passing through the strait.

The plan also includes shipping safety, environmental protection, financial arrangements, and tariff systems, as well as cooperation with Oman within a legal framework regarding the strait.

Iranian Speaker: The U.S. "packages wishes as news"

According to a report from Iran's Fars News Agency on the 30th, Iranian Parliament Speaker Qalibaf responded to the U.S. "psychological warfare" regarding a ceasefire, stating that the U.S. "packages wishes as news," while Iran will strike hard against the aggressors.

Qalibaf stated on social media that "while the enemy threatens our country, it packages its wishes as news for propaganda. This is a grave mistake." He indicated that if the enemy dares to launch a strike, it will suffer multiple retaliations. The Iranian people, under the leadership of the Supreme Leader, will ensure that the aggressors deeply regret their actions.

Earlier on the same day, President Trump stated that the U.S. is having serious discussions with a "new, more rational regime," claiming "great progress has been made," but if an agreement cannot be reached with Iran, the U.S. will "completely destroy" all of Iran's power plants, oil wells, and Khark Island.

UN peacekeeping forces in Lebanon attacked, two Indonesian peacekeepers killed

The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) stated on the 30th that one of its vehicles was destroyed by an "unknown explosion" near Bani Hayyan in southern Lebanon, resulting in the deaths of two peacekeepers and injuries to two others, one of whom is in serious condition.
