The Kyiv City Military Administration stated on social media on the 8th that as of that evening, the Russian military's airstrikes on Kyiv city in the early morning had resulted in 5 deaths and 29 injuries.

The Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported on social media on the evening of the 8th that the Russian military launched drone attacks on the region that day, resulting in two deaths and three injuries. A warehouse area in the Buchansky district of the region caught fire after being attacked, and by the evening, the fire had been extinguished.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force's announcement on social media on the 8th, from the night of the 7th to the early morning of the 8th, the Russian military launched multiple missiles, including "Onyx," "Iskander-M," S-400, and 166 drones from Bryansk, Voronezh, Vologda, Oryol, Krasnodar Krai, and Crimea into Ukrainian territory.
