“Several ‘terrorists’ have fled to the deep mountains and forests to hide, immediately implement the capture!” In the summer, the call from the radio suddenly broke the silence. With gear, gathering, and boarding the vehicle, the officers and soldiers of a certain unit of the First Mobile Division of the Armed Police Force responded to the order and quickly entered combat status, marking the beginning of a combat training exercise in mountainous and forested areas.

Upon arriving at the designated assembly area, each combat unit began operations as ordered. The reconnaissance team conducted reconnaissance using cover, relaying location information in real-time; the containment team seized narrow passages, constructing a circular defense line to cut off escape routes; the sniper team occupied high ground, locking onto target areas; the command team meticulously deployed forces and determined action plans…

“Suspicious target detected!” The reconnaissance team was the first to discover traces of the target.

“Reconnaissance team, move in for close reconnaissance; containment team, seal off the encirclement!” The commander's orders came through, and each group closely coordinated and pressed in layer by layer. After locking onto the location of the “terrorists,” the assault team quickly encircled and established a suppressive posture around the hiding point.

“3, 2, 1, assault!” The assault team members provided alternating cover and successfully breached the target hiding point. Each group coordinated effectively, and the hidden “terrorists” were successfully subdued.

The unit's leadership explained that the mountainous and forested areas have dense vegetation and complex terrain. They set up difficult scenarios based on the complex environment to hone the soldiers' abilities in on-the-spot coordination and special situation handling.

At the training site, just as the soldiers were preparing to withdraw, the control team suddenly issued an order: one “terrorist” broke free from the encirclement and fled down a side path.

“Immediately pursue!” At the commander's order, the soldiers quickly adjusted their formation and launched a sustained pursuit of the target. Climbing steep slopes and traversing dense forests, the soldiers ultimately confirmed that the “terrorist” had hidden in a house at the foot of the mountain and had taken a “hostage.”

The containment team immediately implemented a lockdown of the house, while the reconnaissance team conducted close reconnaissance, relaying the situation back in real-time. The command team quickly assessed the situation and decisively determined a handling plan.

Assault team members carefully approached the window using the terrain, seizing the opportunity to decisively breach in, catching the “terrorist” off guard and quickly controlling him, successfully rescuing the “hostage.”

After the training concluded, a debriefing was conducted on-site. “How to strengthen the outer containment” and “how to improve reconnaissance and capture efficiency”... Everyone reviewed the shortcomings exposed during the training, brainstorming to develop plans to address these gaps and find the right direction for the next training session.
