The Israeli military claims recent airstrikes have killed over 250 members of Hezbollah.

The statement said that the airstrike operations inflicted "precise and heavy" damage on Hezbollah's command and control facilities. The statement also released the identities of some of the deceased Hezbollah commanders, stating that these commanders were responsible for Hezbollah's key operational systems, including weapon transportation, intelligence work, and firepower deployment.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said on the 9th that he had instructed the cabinet to engage in direct negotiations with the Lebanese government, but at the same time stated that Israel has "no ceasefire" in Lebanon and will "continue to strike Hezbollah with full force."

Netanyahu further stated on the 11th that "the elimination of Hezbollah" is a prerequisite for Israel to engage in ceasefire negotiations with Lebanon.

According to reports, the ambassadors of Israel and Lebanon to the United States are expected to hold talks in Washington, D.C. on the 14th.
