The U.S. Deploys a Large Number of Fighter Jets at Military Base in Jordan

The report stated that several unnamed Jordanian officials said the deployment of U.S. aircraft was carried out in accordance with a defense agreement signed with the U.S. They expressed hope that negotiations between the U.S. and Iran could reach an agreement to avoid the outbreak of war in the region.
Additionally, a recent report from the U.S. New York Times indicated that satellite images taken on the 20th showed that the U.S. had deployed more than 60 fighter jets at the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, which is about three times the usual number of fighter jets stationed there.
The satellite images also revealed that, compared to the past, more advanced aircraft types have appeared at the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, including F-35 stealth fighters.
