Trump calls for "first choice" to seize Iran's oil hub, Khark Island.
Xinhua News Agency, Washington, June 11 - U.S. President Trump stated on the 11th that he plans to seize the Iranian oil export hub of Khark Island, which has always been his "preferred" military action against Iran.
In an interview with Fox News, Trump said, "We are negotiating with them (Iran), but my preference has always been to take Khark Island."
Trump mentioned that there would be "more bombings (against Iran) tonight, and they will be larger and more intense." Iran has no air defense capability, "Our planes fly over the center of Tehran, and they have no idea we are there."
Trump also stated that Iran "desperately wants to reach an agreement."
Before the interview, Trump posted on social media that the U.S. would launch a fierce strike against Iran tonight. In the near future, the U.S. will occupy Iran's Khark Island and other oil infrastructure, and fully control Iran's oil and gas market, "just like what the U.S. did to Venezuela."
