Xinhua News Agency, Dubai, May 4 (Reporter Xia Xiao, Zhao Danliang) - On the 4th, the UAE issued multiple alerts to the public via mobile phones, stating that there is a "potential missile threat," and urged the public to take necessary precautions immediately. The Fujairah oil industrial area in the UAE was attacked by drones that day, resulting in three injuries.

The Fujairah Media Office issued a statement on the 4th, stating that a drone attack from the direction of Iran caused a fire in the Fujairah oil industrial area, injuring three Indian nationals, with moderate injuries. The injured have been sent to the hospital for necessary treatment.

Previously, the Fujairah Media Office had confirmed that a large-scale fire broke out in the oil industrial area following the drone attack.

On the same day, the UAE Ministry of Defense reported that four cruise missiles from the direction of Iran had been detected, three of which were successfully intercepted over territorial waters, while the other fell into the sea.

This incident marks the first related attack on the UAE since the temporary ceasefire between the United States, Israel, and Iran on April 8.
