On October 8 local time, Ukrainian President Zelensky reported that Russian forces conducted airstrikes in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, resulting in at least 30 deaths and 18 injuries, with the death toll likely to rise further. During the attack, two small passenger buses were hit, and multiple residential buildings and vehicles were damaged. Some of the victims' bodies were severely mutilated, and their identities have not yet been confirmed. Medical personnel are currently working hard to treat the injured civilians.
Zelensky stated that Ukraine will respond to this attack.
