On the 19th local time, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that since 6 PM on the 18th, the Russian military has conducted a large-scale joint strike against Ukraine using drones and various types of missiles, primarily targeting the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv. The radar units of the Ukrainian Air Force recorded a total of 166 aerial attack targets, including 41 missiles and 125 various types of drones.

The Ukrainian State Emergency Service reported that the Russian military launched a large-scale attack on Kyiv that day, resulting in 1 death and 8 injuries so far. Multiple districts in the Ukrainian capital were hit, causing fires, and several residential buildings were damaged. Rescue personnel have begun rescue and response operations.

According to Ukrainian sources, in the early hours of that day, the Russian Armed Forces launched the most intense ballistic missile attack since the escalation of the conflict against Kyiv, firing approximately 40 ballistic missiles at Kyiv within 40 minutes, including models such as "Iskander-M," "Zircon," and S-400 missiles.

Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that the attack launched by Russia on Kyiv in the early hours of that day was one of the most severe ballistic missile attacks since the escalation of the conflict, with over 40 different types of missiles fired, most of which were aimed at Kyiv, along with 120 drones. He noted that as of now, there has been 1 death and 16 injuries in Kyiv city and Kyiv region.

The Russian Ministry of Defense released a statement on the 19th, stating that in the early hours of that day, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation used air-based and ground-based precision weapons and attack drones to conduct large-scale strikes against military industrial enterprises and logistics centers in Kyiv city and Kyiv region, as well as infrastructure targets in the southern port of Odesa. The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that these targets were used for receiving and storing military cargo, as well as ensuring the fuel and lubricants needed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
