Ukrainian Army Claims Multiple Clashes with Russian Forces in the Past Day
On May 11 local time, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that there were 180 combat incidents in the frontline areas as of 8 AM. The Ukrainian Air Force, missile troops, and artillery struck one Russian command post and four artillery systems.
In the past day, there were nine exchanges of fire between Russian and Ukrainian forces in the northern Sloviansk and Kursk directions. In the southern Sloviansk direction, the Russian forces launched 15 attacks. In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian forces conducted three attacks. In the Lyman direction, the Russian forces carried out 13 attacks. In the Pokrovsk direction, the Ukrainian forces repelled 37 attacks from the Russian forces. In the Oleksandrivsk direction, the Ukrainian forces repelled two attacks from the Russian forces. Over the past day, the Russian forces suffered 920 casualties, while the Ukrainian forces destroyed four Russian tanks, seven armored vehicles, 76 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, nine ground robotic systems, 1,577 drones, 231 vehicles, and two sets of special equipment.
