Ukrainian Drone Attack in Luhansk Injures 19 People

On February 14, Xinhua News Agency reported from Moscow that Leonid Pasechnik, the leader of the Luhansk region, stated via social media that several Ukrainian drones launched an attack on a town in the southern part of the region that day, resulting in multiple injuries. The region's health department later confirmed that the attack left 19 people injured.

TASS quoted Pasechnik as saying that several Ukrainian military drones carried out a concentrated fire strike on the "Central Town" in the Perevalsk municipal district of the southern Luhansk region, causing over a dozen injuries and damaging dozens of residential and public facilities.

According to a report by RIA Novosti, Natalia Pasechnik, head of the Luhansk region's health department, later stated that 19 people were injured in the attack, including 3 seriously; all the injured were residents of "Central Town," including 1 child.

Since January of this year, representatives from Russia, the United States, and Ukraine have held two rounds of talks in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, reaching a certain consensus on issues such as the exchange of captured personnel. Meanwhile, the Russian and Ukrainian militaries continue to engage in combat in some areas along the front lines and carry out long-range strikes against each other.
