The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) stated on March 3 local time that its peacekeeping personnel observed Israeli Defense Forces soldiers crossing the "Blue Line" into Lebanese territory earlier that day, and then withdrew south of the "Blue Line."

UNIFIL stated in a press release that these soldiers entered areas near the southern villages of Markaba, Odaisse, Kfar Kila, and Ramieh, and then evacuated.

UNIFIL reported that over the past two days, they recorded multiple Israeli airstrikes, hundreds of gunfire incidents crossing the "Blue Line," and 84 violations of airspace, as well as incidents of rockets and shells fired by Hezbollah towards Israel. UNIFIL stated that each incident constitutes a serious violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701. (CCTV reporter Yang Yuan)
