Unnamed customer signs $270M ISR payload deal with Elbit

Elbit Systems signed contracts worth approximately $270 million with an unnamed international customer to supply electro-optic ISR and targeting payloads, the company said Tuesday.

The contracts, covering the company’s SPECTRO family of multi-spectral electro-optic systems, will be performed over a period of up to six years. Elbit Systems did not identify the customer or specify which country the deal covers.

The SPECTRO systems combine mid-wave infrared, visible and short-wave infrared imaging channels with laser designation capabilities and AI-based analytics, according to Elbit Systems. The company said the systems are built for target identification, tracking and long-range intelligence gathering across airborne, naval and ground applications, operating day and night and in adverse weather.

The contracts also cover AMPS NG systems, a member of the SPECTRO family designed for airborne ISR and targeting missions. Elbit Systems said the AMPS NG combines the same MWIR, visible and SWIR sensor types with image processing and geo-pointing technology intended to support long-range target acquisition and surveillance for strategic missions.

“Elbit Systems is a global leader in the field of ISR & Targeting solutions, providing modern armed forces with a comprehensive portfolio of advanced capabilities designed to address a wide range of operational requirements,” said Bezhalel Machlis, President and CEO of Elbit Systems. “Through our innovative technologies, we enable customers to enhance situational awareness, intelligence gathering and mission effectiveness in today’s complex operational environments.”

Elbit Systems, based in Haifa, Israel, employs more than 21,000 people across dozens of countries on five continents. The company reported $2.29 billion in revenue for the three months ended June 30, 2026, and an order backlog of $32 billion as of that date.
