U.S. Military Claims New Round of Strikes Against Iran

On July 16, Xinhua News Agency reported from Washington (reporters Huang Qiang and Yan Liang) that the U.S. Central Command announced on social media that at 14:00 Eastern Time on the 16th, the U.S. military launched a new round of strikes against Iran for the "sixth consecutive night" to further weaken Iran's military capabilities.

Recently, the U.S. military has continuously launched military strikes against Iran, with two rounds of strikes occurring on the 15th alone, targeting Iranian command centers, air defense facilities, missile and drone combat capabilities, and coastal surveillance facilities. The U.S. military also resumed its maritime blockade against Iran on the afternoon of the 14th Eastern Time.

On the 14th, U.S. President Trump stated in an exclusive interview with Fox News that U.S. military strikes against Iran would continue "until I say enough." Unless Iran returns to the negotiating table, the U.S. military will strike its bridges and power plants next week.

Earlier on the 16th, White House Press Secretary Levitt stated at a White House press conference that Iran is still actively communicating with the U.S. and expressed a desire to reach an agreement with the U.S., and that the U.S. is indeed communicating with Iran.
