U.S. Military Claims to Have Attacked Over 20 Iranian Vessels
On March 4, Xinhua News Agency reported from Washington that the U.S. Central Command announced on social media that the U.S. military has struck or sunk more than 20 Iranian vessels.
A video released by Central Command shows an Iranian warship on fire and billowing thick smoke after being hit. According to U.S. media reports, this is the "Martyr Sayyid Shirazi" patrol ship, which began service in February 2024.
