Zelensky Sets Daily Target of 1,000 Drones to Strike Russian Targets
Xinhua News Agency, Kyiv, August 28 - According to a report from the Ukrainian National News Agency on the 28th, Ukrainian President Zelensky convened a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to discuss the issue of weapon supplies and set a goal of using 1,000 drones daily to conduct long-range strikes against Russia.
Zelensky stated that weapons should be utilized to the maximum extent to defend against Russia's attacks on Ukraine, with a focus on strengthening defenses against Russian drones and increasing the frequency of deep strikes against Russia. He mentioned that currently, Ukraine conducts more than 300 long-range strikes against Russia on average each day, but "there should be more."
Zelensky also said that the production of interceptors to defend against Russian drones should be accelerated.
