Zelensky: Ukraine and Europe Agree to Accelerate the Implementation of Drone Cooperation Agreement
On May 4 local time, Ukrainian President Zelensky revealed in a social media post that he held an important meeting with European Commission President von der Leyen that day to discuss EU assistance to Ukraine and security cooperation in the field of drones.
Both sides agreed to accelerate the signing of the "Drone Agreement" between Ukraine and the EU and to discuss the specific details and implementation rules of the related security cooperation.
Zelensky stated that Ukraine will improve the supporting infrastructure for security cooperation and has assigned relevant tasks to the Chief of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, and the diplomatic team of the Presidential Office to implement the consensus reached in this meeting and promote the relevant cooperation.
