Zhuhai Airshow Opens Maritime Exhibition Area for the First Time, Static Display of Active Navy Vessels
On October 13, the press conference for the 16th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition was held in Beijing, focusing on the progress of preparations and highlights of this year's airshow.
At the press conference, it was introduced that the Gaolan Port exhibition area is the first area to open for this airshow. The Chinese Navy will rely on the nearly thousand-meter coastline of Gaolan Port to create an immersive display area for maritime equipment, showcasing active-duty vessels in a static exhibition, and displaying amphibious armored vehicles and other equipment on land. There will also be a public open day event, with online reservation and review for the exhibition area, which will be open to the public for free, allowing entry with valid identification. China Shipbuilding Group plans to showcase various types of waterborne and land equipment, including a new type of 500-ton unmanned vessel, with about 150 exhibits displayed in the core area of the main venue, and a dynamic performance area set up simultaneously in the Gaolan Port exhibition area, achieving a dual interaction of "indoor static display + outdoor dynamic performance."
