Hawkei

The Hawkei is an Australian protected mobility vehicle-light. The Australian Department of Defence describes it as an Australian-built lightweight four-wheel-drive protected mobility vehicle acquired in two variants with companion trailers.

Its development reflects a common modern requirement: vehicles lighter and more deployable than heavy MRAPs, but more survivable than legacy utility vehicles. The goal is to give small teams protected movement without sacrificing too much off-road mobility.
