According to reporters, on March 1 local time, a tanker attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz was hit and began to sink.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran announced on the evening of February 28 that no vessels are allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
