A U.S. Military F-35 Fighter Jet Crashes in Nevada
Xinhua News Agency, Los Angeles, March 31 (Reporter Gao Shan, Tan Jingjing) According to U.S. media reports, a U.S. military F-35 stealth fighter jet crashed north of Las Vegas, Nevada, on the same day, and the pilot ejected and escaped.
The media department of Nellis Air Force Base in the U.S. informed local television stations in an email that the accident occurred about 40 kilometers northeast of Indian Springs, within controlled airspace and the restricted federal area of the Nevada test flight training range.
The aircraft reported control anomalies around noon. After the pilot ejected, they were found by rescue personnel and reportedly sustained minor injuries.
