Israeli Army Claims to Have Struck 20 Iranian Weapons Production and Research Facilities in the Past Day
On March 31 local time, the Israel Defense Forces issued a statement saying that over the past day, the Israeli Air Force targeted 20 weapon production facilities and research sites within Iran.
The IDF stated that during a round of airstrikes that morning, Israeli Air Force aircraft dropped approximately 80 bombs on multiple targets, including facilities for producing "key components" for ballistic missile engines, sites for testing missile engines, and a base for air defense system production.
The IDF had previously indicated plans to complete strikes on all "key" assets within Iran's military production system the following day.
Additionally, the IDF stated that the airstrikes that day also included attacks on infrastructure related to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force headquarters located in Tehran, as well as strikes on targets such as ballistic missile launch and storage facilities and air defense systems.
