All-Element, High-Intensity: Direct Hit on a Certain Army Brigade's All-Weather Air Defense Live Fire Exercise

Recently, a certain air defense unit of the 82nd Group Army organized a comprehensive live-fire exercise that spanned day and night, involved all elements, and was conducted at high intensity, honing the troops' all-weather air defense combat training capabilities.

Upon receiving the order, all elements acted swiftly. The officers and soldiers quickly completed pre-battle preparations such as equipment setup and position camouflage based on the terrain and topography. Each combat unit coordinated closely and deployed in stages, constructing a three-dimensional air defense fire network.

The entire exercise randomly set up emergency situations, focusing on key and difficult subjects such as rapid search and capture, precise targeting, emergency response, and day-night transition strikes. In response to practical challenges such as poor visibility and difficulty in target acquisition at night, this assessment also emphasized strengthening the training of officers and soldiers in equipment operation and application, ensuring mastery of the changes in equipment parameters and target maneuver characteristics in dark environments. Through repeated practical training, the action processes were solidified, accurately enhancing the core capabilities of individual soldiers in night search, precise strikes, and emergency response.

Dong Shengbo, a certain unit of the 82nd Group Army: Compared to the open shooting conditions during the day, at night under no-light conditions, it is impossible to see aerial targets with the naked eye; we can only rely on low-light aiming devices to lock onto targets. This requires not only absolute cooperation and tacit understanding between teams but also proficiency in equipment application, which is a significant test for us.

This day-and-night live-fire exercise rigorously honed offensive and defensive combat skills. It further improved multi-scenario air defense combat tactics, promoted the deep integration of individual skills and team coordination, and comprehensively tested the troops' rapid response, all-domain air defense, and emergency response capabilities in real combat.
