Xinhua News Agency, St. Petersburg, March 23 (Reporter Chen Chang) - Alexander Drozdenko, the governor of Leningrad Oblast, said on social media on the 23rd that an oil depot at the Primorsk port in Leningrad Oblast was attacked by drones and caught fire early that morning. Staff have been urgently evacuated, and the fire has not yet been extinguished.

Drozdenko stated that more than 60 drones were destroyed over Leningrad Oblast in less than a day.

The press office of Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg reported that due to the threat of drone attacks, 62 flights were canceled and 80 flights were delayed. Flight operations at the airport gradually resumed from 9 a.m. local time on the 23rd.

The Russian Aviation Authority stated that it will continue to monitor the airport conditions in the northwestern region of Russia to ensure flight safety.
