At noon on July 9
with the last batch of teachers and students being transportedin the Xijiang Education Park of Guigang City, Guangxi
over ten thousand trapped teachers and students
have all been successfully relocated
Cheers and applause
rose and fell

In recent days
affected by Typhoon "Maysak"
Guigang, Guangxi has experienced continuous heavy rainfall
with river water backflow
the low-lying Guigang Xijiang Education Park
has become an "island" surrounded by floodwaters
many trapped teachers and students urgently needed to be relocated
Upon receiving the rescue order
a certain brigade of the Southern Theater Command Army
quickly organized multiple "party member assault teams"
to board speedboats
and urgently engage in rescue operations

All the roads in the park
were completely submerged by floodwaters
in some areas the water level
has reached four to five meters
close to the top of the road signs
The officers and soldiers drove speedboats
repeatedly navigating through the flooded park
delivering drinking water, instant food, and other supplies
to the trapped teachers and students
and then escorting them
in an orderly manner to safe relocation points
At the rescue site
military and local rescue forces
cooperated and took turns transporting
many local residents
also spontaneously formed volunteer service teams
to assist with personnel guidance
and material transportation
After continuous efforts
the task of relocating all teachers and students
was finally completed

As of the time of this report
the brigade's officers and soldiers have transitioned to
the next phase of flood control and rescue tasks
making every effort to strengthen the flood defense line
"We will not retreat until the flood recedes"
regardless of fatigue, day or night
when the people are in trouble
the soldiers will always charge ahead
