Beijing Xiangshan Forum Concludes Today: From "Dialogue" to "Co-governance" to Build Consensus on Global Security Governance

Today (17th), the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum enters its final day. Over the past two days, official representatives from nearly 100 countries, regions, and international organizations, as well as experts and scholars from home and abroad, have engaged in dialogue on issues such as world multipolarity and global security governance.

As an international security dialogue platform, the Beijing Xiangshan Forum provides an opportunity for representatives from different countries and with different positions to communicate. With the advancement of various agendas, the construction of multilateral dialogue channels and the actions of major powers in security affairs continue to spark discussions among the attendees.

As world multipolarity deepens, the role and voice of developing countries in global security governance have attracted significant attention. This morning, the forum also held two plenary sessions themed "Security Stability and Risk Challenges in the Asia-Pacific" and "The Role and Vision of Developing Countries." Representatives from developing countries in regions such as Asia, Africa, and Latin America also exchanged views on international security affairs and their own security concerns at the forum.

Pakistan's Secretary of Defense Muhammad Ali: I believe that small and medium-sized countries should actively participate in international forums to make their voices heard. For this reason, forums like the Xiangshan Forum provide these countries with a channel to express their views.

This morning, the 4th China-Africa Peace and Security Forum was also held concurrently. The two major forums coordinated resources and collaborated to ensure that topics resonated with each other and that results were effectively shared. It is reported that this year's Beijing Xiangshan Forum will conclude this afternoon.
