Munich, January 20, 2026 – KNDS Deutschland (KNDS) and the Belgian Procurement Agency (OCASC) have signed a contract for the delivery of eight LEGUAN bridge layers mounted on a 10×10 wheeled chassis. The contract, which KNDS won against several competitors, also includes 17 LEGUAN 26-meter bridges, a logistics package, and special tools.

The contract value is approximately EUR 80 million.

The LEGUAN bridge laying system is capable of automatically laying and retrieving 26- or 14-meter bridges of load classes MLC 80 and MLC 100, day and night, from a protected cabin. The LEGUAN system on various tracked and wheeled platforms is already in use and being procured by 22 armies around the world.
