On September 20 local time, the Sudanese civil organization "Sudan Doctors Network" issued a statement saying that the city of Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan state in central Sudan, was attacked by drones that day, resulting in the deaths of 2 civilians and injuring another 20.
The statement condemned the Sudan Rapid Support Forces for carrying out the attack, stating that the organization launched drone airstrikes on several residential areas, causing casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure. In response, the Rapid Support Forces have not yet commented.
