This dangerous trend must be reversed as soon as possible. China calls on all parties involved to maintain contact, demonstrate political will, enhance mutual trust through dialogue, accumulate consensus through negotiations, and strive to reach a comprehensive, lasting, and binding peace agreement.

China also urges the relevant parties to abandon Cold War thinking and bloc confrontation, properly address each other's legitimate security concerns, eliminate the root causes of the crisis based on fully, completely, and comprehensively adhering to the principles of the United Nations Charter, and promote the establishment of a balanced, effective, and sustainable regional security framework to achieve long-term peace and stability in the region.
