Jiang Lue, spokesperson for the China Coast Guard, stated that on July 31, the Xiushan ship fleet of the China Coast Guard conducted regular law enforcement patrols in the waters east of Taiwan Island in accordance with the law. Since July, the Xiushan ship fleet has continuously strengthened control over the relevant maritime areas, effectively ensuring normal navigation and operational order, and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests as well as the safety of life and property of the Chinese people, including compatriots from Taiwan. The China Coast Guard will continue to enhance law enforcement patrols in the waters under China's jurisdiction, resolutely maintaining national territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests.
